I started learning to sing around 2020, and it completely changed my life.
I had always wanted to learn to play guitar, so I started by learning cover songs. As I began singing those songs, something clicked. I fell in love with improving my voice. It became a passion unlike anything I'd ever experienced.
I started taking lessons with a local vocal teacher, read every singing book I could get my hands on, took online courses, and spent countless hours researching everything I could about the voice. I just wanted to become a better singer. I couldn't get enough of learning.
With every new song I learned, my friends and family were amazed by how quickly my voice was improving. They kept asking me what I was doing to get better so fast.
The truth is, I didn't have endless hours to practice. As a husband, a dad of two, and someone working full time, I had to find a smarter way to learn. Instead of practicing for hours every day, I developed a simple, structured process that helped me focus only on the things that would improve my voice the fastest.
Over time, I refined that process into a system that helped me make consistent progress, even with a busy schedule. It's the same approach I now teach to others.
My goal isn't just to help you sing better. I want to help you enjoy the process of learning. Whether you're singing for fun, leading worship, performing on stage, or simply trying to build confidence, I want to help you reach your goals.
Everyone learns differently, and that's okay. If one technique I teach doesn't work for you, there are many incredible vocal coaches whose methods might. I've learned so much from amazing teachers like Cheryl Porter, Cari Cole, Bill Purnell, and Eric Vetro. Their knowledge has helped shape my own teaching, and I'm grateful for everything they've shared.
At the end of the day, I simply want to serve others through singing education. If I can help make your singing journey a little easier, a little more enjoyable, and a little faster, then I've done what I set out to do.
